NORTH CAROLINA

Carolinians are ready to invest in clean energy, which creates good, clean energy jobs, a stronger economy, a safer community, and a healthier planet. But Duke Energy’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) prevents the Carolinas from moving forward toward 100% renewable energy.

Duke proposes to double down on dirty coal for decades to come — rather than invest in cost-effective, healthy renewable energy like solar. And Duke fails to fund economic justice and frontline communities.

Sign up to speak! The North Carolina Utilities Commission is hosting a public hearing on March 16 at 7pm. Tell your opportunity to tell the NCUC to reject Duke’s IRP and call for a plan that puts clean energy and climate justice at the forefront. Registration closes March 11 at 5pm.

Request a public hearing! The South Carolina PSC has not scheduled a public hearing. Make sure they know you would like to speak directly with the Commission.
